How do i start P2E earning on Reaper’s Crypt?
There are many ways to begin earning here at Reaper’s Crypt. One of the best things about our community ecosystem is that you can start from nothing and grow without spending any money. It may take a bit longer to reach the level of top-earning players, but it’s completely achievable.
- Playing Supported Games and Obtaining Joules
- By registering with our Discord bot and linking your gaming platforms—such as Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation Network, Battle.net, and others to your Discord Account Connections—our system can track your in-game progress if the game your are playing is supported by our system, (Check our Current Supported Games), and automatically reward you with Electricity/Power, known as Joules to your Discord Account. You can then use these Joules to sell directly to other players through our Auction House, trade them, or consume them to power your Digital Miners. The choice is entirely up to you.
- Digital Miners
- Over time, you’ll be able to acquire various types of Digital Miners that represent a share of the hashrate within our network, which is used to mine real cryptocurrency. Just like real-world crypto mining, blocks can be found through solo mining or by teaming up with others in a mining pool to earn rewards more efficiently. At Reaper’s Crypt, we believe that collaborating with fellow miners leads to faster block discovery and fairer distribution of rewards. So, when you obtain one of our Digital Miners and power it with Joules, you automatically join our mining pool, and rewards will begin accumulating in your wallet. We may implement Solo Mining Digital Miners in the future, but the majority of our Digital Miners will automatically join our mining pool when powered.
- Liquidity Pools (Alcor Swap)
- Liquidity pools are the engine behind Alcor's “Swap” feature. Instead of a traditional order book where you wait for a buyer or seller, you trade directly against a smart contract holding a reserve of tokens.
- How they work: You provide two tokens of equal value (e.g., WAX and a game token like TLM or BRWL) to a pool. In return, you receive LP (Liquidity Provider) tokens that represent your share of that pool.
- Earnings: You earn a portion of the trading fees (usually 0.3%) from every swap made in that pool. These fees are added back into the pool, increasing the value of your LP tokens over time.
- Concentrated Liquidity: Alcor recently upgraded to V2, which supports Concentrated Liquidity. This allows you to choose a specific price range to provide liquidity. If the price stays in your range, you earn significantly more fees than in a standard pool, but if it leaves that range, you stop earning until it returns.
- Alcor Farms (Yield Farming)
- Farming is a “bonus” layer on top of liquidity pools. While all pools give you trading fees, only some pools are incentivized with extra rewards through “Farms.”
- The Process: To participate in a farm, you must first provide liquidity to a specific pool to get LP tokens. You then “stake” those LP tokens in the Farms tab.
- The Rewards: In addition to the trading fees you’re already earning, the farm pays out extra tokens (often the native project token or ALCOR tokens) as an incentive to keep your liquidity there.
- Incentives for Projects: Most farms on Alcor are funded by the projects themselves (like play-to-earn games on WAX) to ensure there is enough liquidity for players to buy and sell their tokens easily.
- Important Risks to Consider
- Impermanent Loss: This happens when the price of one token in your pair rises or falls significantly faster than the other. When you withdraw, you might have less total value than if you had just held the tokens separately.
- Low Liquidity: On smaller chains like WAX, some pools are very “thin.” Swapping large amounts in these pools can result in high slippage, meaning you get a much worse price than expected.
- Alcor Exchange - Liquidity Pools/Positions
- On Alcor Exchange, a multi-chain DEX (Decentralized Exchange) primarily known for its presence on the WAX, EOS, and Telos blockchains, liquidity pools and farms are the primary ways for users to earn passive income.
- Buying and Trading with other players
- If obtaining Digital Miners and receiving automatic payouts is not your thing, don't worry. You can simply collect Joules and list them in our Auction House at market price, or above market price for higher profit but longer sell time, or under market price for slightly lower profit but much faster sell time. Joules will at first only be sell-able for Satoshi, but may at a later time be sold through our Auction House for other Crypto Tokens such as our native token REAPER on the WAX Blockchain, or WAX, or SOLANA, etc.
- Participating in Random Events and Giveaways
- Periodically throughout the year, we will be hosting random events as well as holiday based events. These events could be anything from a joule earning multiplier in a specific supported game or all games, to a game license for one of our supported games, maybe even a Digital Miner or even a lump sum of a randomly chosen Crypto Token. Make sure to stay active in order to participate in these exciting events as we would hate for you to miss out!
- Staking in our Liquidity Pools
- Another great way to earn and greatly support the community is by staking your Crypto Tokens in our Liquidity Pools/Farms to earn an APR on your staked funds. It's quite simple, The more you stake, The more you earn. Part of our events system will include random rewards to our highest stakers for their continuous support as well as a prestigious Discord Role the will change based on the total amount that you have staked!
- Referring others to our community and reaching Referral Milestones
- We have plans for implementing a very powerful, robust, and very rewarding referral system to our loyal users.
