Reaper's Crypt Community Prize Pool
In order for the platform to ensure sustainability, all direct Discord App transactions — with the exception of deposits — incur a fee that dynamically adjusts based on transaction size and the current price of Bitcoin. This includes Premium Pass purchases, Auction House trades, player-to-player exchanges, and withdrawals. A dynamically adjusted portion of every fee collected is automatically directed into the Community Prize Pool and redistributed alongside regular Digital Miner payouts to reward active participants.
By sharing its profits with the community, it emphasizes that players are the foundation of any successful project — and they deserve to be recognized and rewarded for their loyalty.
How does the Community Prize Pool work?
The community prize pool is a shared pot of satoshis that supplements every miner's hourly payout on top of their base reward. It exists as a bonus layer — when the prize pool is healthy, miners earn more; when it's empty, base payouts continue unaffected.
How is the Community Prize funded?
The prize pool accumulates automatically from platform activity. Every time a user makes a withdrawal, transfer, premium purchase, or auction sale, 35% of the platform fee collected on that transaction is credited directly to the prize pool. No manual action is required — the more active the economy, the faster it refills.
It can also be manually seeded at any time via /admin pool add.
How it pays out
Each hour, 1/24th of 1% of the prize pool balance is distributed among all active miners, proportional to their hashrate share. A miner with a larger or more powerful rig claims a bigger slice of the hourly budget. Over a full
day this works out to approximately 1% of the total pool balance paid out.
What happens if it runs dry
Nothing breaks. Miners continue to receive their base payout from the server revenue pool as normal. The prize pool bonus simply drops to zero until the pool is replenished by fee income or manual seeding. This makes it
low-risk to manage — a smaller pool just means smaller bonuses, not a broken system.
Relationship to the server pool
The server pool funds the base payout — it's the core engine. The prize pool is the community bonus on top. Both draw from the same 1%/day rate and both benefit from platform fee income (server pool gets the other 65%), so a
healthy, active economy naturally keeps both funded over time.
